Cheilotoma blumi

Taxonomy
Pleurotoma blumi was named by Wissmann (1841). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St. Cassian (Munster coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Cheilotomona, Cheilotoma.

It was recombined as Cheilotoma blumi by Koken (1889); it was recombined as Murchisonia (Cheilotoma) blumi by Kittl (1891); it was recombined as Cheilotomona blumi by Strand (1928), Bandel (2006), Nützel and Kaim (2014) and Nützel and Karapunar (2023).
