Taxonomy
Helenostylina convexa was named by Nützel and Kaim (2014). Its type specimen is NMS BOZ 5005, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample A-surface, Settsass Scharte, which is in a Julian basinal (carbonate) marl in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
