Physemataspis mirabilis
Taxonomy
Physemataspis mirabilis was named by Tripp (1980). Its type specimen is GLAHM A18542a, b, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is south bank of Penwhapple Burn immediately south of the power-house, which is in a Sandbian offshore siltstone/conglomerate in the Balclatchie Formation of the United Kingdom.
