Taxonomy
Ringsteadia brandesi was named by Salfeld (1917). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South Marston (Marston Ironstone, BMNH), which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in the Ampthill Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
