Taxonomy
Triozites seminudatus was named by Buckman (1924). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ringstead Bay (Inconstans Bed, BGS collection), which is in a Kimmeridgian offshore mudstone in the Kimmeridge Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Pictonia seminudata by Wright (2010).
