Placoparina sedgwickii

Taxonomy
Cryphaeus sedgwickii was named by M'Coy (1849). Its type specimen is SMA 15616a, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Eccoptochile sedgwickii by Sedgwick and M'Coy (1851); it was recombined as Placoparina sedgwickii by Whittard (1940) and Gapp et al. (2012).
