Deloprosopus jiangshanensis
Taxonomy
Eoconchidium jiangshanensis was named by Liu et al. (1983) [Liang in Liu, Xu & Liang 1983
= Tcherskidium sp. RONG AND HAN, 1986, p. 485, pl. 1, figs. 1–3, 5, 7, 8.]. Its type specimen is ZIG01501, a valve (internal mold of conjoined valves), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jiangshan, which is in an Ashgill coastal shale/limestone in the Changwu Formation of China.
It was recombined as Tcherskidium jiangshanensis by Zhan and Cocks (1998); it was recombined as Deloprosopus jiangshanensis by Jin et al. (2006).
