Belonotaris (Belonotaris) punctatissimus
Taxonomy
Belonotaris punctatissimus was named by Arnoldi (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 2452/422, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Karabastau (PIN collection 2452), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Belonotaris (Belonotaris) punctatissimus by Gratshev and Legalov (2014) and Legalov (2015).
