Taxonomy
Coelospira virginia was named by Amsden (1958) [= Anoplotheca concava Reeds 1911, p. 267; not Hall 1857. = Anoplotheca cf. A. concava Maxwell 1936 p. 89.]. Its type specimen is OU-936 and is a 3D body fossil.
