Taxonomy
Kozlowskiella (Megakozlowskiella) velata was named by Amsden (1958) [= Delthyris perlamellosa (of Girty 1899, pp. 547, 565; of Reeds 1911, p. 267 [part]; of Maxwell 1936, p. 90); not Spirifer perlamellosa Hall 1857.]. Its type specimen is OU-1045 and is a 3D body fossil.
