Taxonomy
Pectinatites (Pectinatites) tricostatus was named by Mesezhnikov (1984). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 754/688, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kheta River, outcrop 14 (Gavrilino Ulovo), Khatanga Basin, which is in a Tithonian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
