Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
V. Havlicek and P. Storch 1990Similar to 0. provellerosa with a subrectangular to trapezoidal disc gently convex umbonally but flat or even gently concave laterally and anteriorly; disc 8-13 mm wide and less long than half of its maximum width. Anterior margin of the disc straight, sides moderately diverging toward hinge line. Disc bordered anteriorly and laterally by low, rounded ridge which passes into an edge toward mid-length. For this reason, the antero-lateral margins of the disc are more elevated than its anterior part at the disc/trail boundary. Trail dorsally directed, almost half as high as the maximum length of the disc. Apical foramen persisting throughout ontogeny; pseudodeltidium not examined. Brachial valve flat, antero-laterally (close to the upturned trail) gently concave; dorsal interarea not examined.

Rugae low, better developed on flanks of the disc than in the median sector; costellae low, rounded, about 6 per 2 mm.
