Taxonomy
Burmipachytrocta singularis was named by Azar et al. (2015). Its type specimen is NIGP 159660, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Burmipachytrocta.
