Taxonomy
Milqartis azari was named by Drohojowska and Szwedo (2015). Its type specimen is Azar 1620A, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Mdeyrij-Hammana, Casa Baabda (Azar coll), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
