Mimamontsecia cretacea

Taxonomy
Mimamontsecia cretacea was named by Szwedo and Ansorge (2015). Its type specimen is GZG.RF.9311, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is La Cabrua outcrop, Sierra del Montsec (GZG collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the la Pedrera de Rubies Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Mimamontsecia.
