Taxonomy
Libanopsis limosa was named by Kirejtshuk (2015). Its type specimen is Azar J-6 F, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Jouar es-Souss, Bkassine, Jezzine (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
