Cratotetraspinus fossorius

Taxonomy
Tetraspinus fossorius was named by Martins-Neto (1995). Its type specimen is UnG-035, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, Tatajuba farm, Araripe Basin, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large limestone in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Cratotetraspinus, Tetraspinus.

It was recombined as Cratotetraspinus fossorius by Martins-Neto (1997).
