Taxonomy
Kallirhynchia phylarchus was named by Crickmay (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ravine 34, (Stiphromorphites zone) southwest slope of Mount Jura, which is in a Bajocian marine sandstone in the Mormon Formation of California.
