Taxonomy
Straparollus norvegicus was named by Koken and Perner (1925) [Straparollus norvegicus Koken in Koken & Perner 1925]. Its type specimen is PMO 20274, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Helicotoma norvegica by Yochelson (1963); it was recombined as Straparollina norvegica by Ebbestad et al. (2013); it was recombined as Straparollina norvegicus by Wagner (2023).
