Globirhynchia gnathophora
Taxonomy
Rhynchonella gnathophora was named by Meek (1864). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Indeterminate ravine (Ravine 34-36), southwest slope of Mount Jura, which is in a Bajocian marine sandstone in the Mormon Formation of California.
It was recombined as Globirhynchia gnathophora by Crickmay (1933).
