Taxonomy
Capillirhynchia gallatinensis was named by Crickmay (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North slope of Joseph Peak, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian carbonate shale/limestone in the Sawtooth Formation of Wyoming.
