Taxonomy
Loboidothyris mormonensis was named by Crickmay (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ravine 41 (rhacta zone), southeast slope of Mount Jura, which is in a Bajocian marine sandstone in the Mormon Formation of California.
