Taxonomy
Lestes dianacompteae was named by Compte-Sart (2014). Its type specimen is MGBV 9859, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Coll de Saig (Bellver de Cerdanya, MGBV collection), which is in a Vallesian/Turolian lacustrine - small mudstone in Spain.
