Luhocrinus was named by Prokop and Fatka (1985) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm uMid]. It is not extant. Its type is Luhocrinus monicae.

It was assigned to Eocrinoidea by Prokop and Fatka (1985) and Sepkoski (2002).
