Taxonomy
Blattinopsis (Blattinopsis) tardefurcata was named by Müller (1977). Its type specimen is SW 155/18, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Sperbersbach-Schmücke, near Oberhof (Schleusingen coll.), which is in an Asselian lacustrine - large shale in the Goldlauter Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Blattinopsis tardefurcata by Hörnschemeyer and Stapf (2001).
