Taxonomy
Sieberella pyriforma was named by Johnson (1970). Its type specimen is USNM 156850 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM 10707. In second saddle on crest of Sulphur Spring Range, SE. of Hill 7881, which is in a Deer Parkian carbonate limestone in the McColley Canyon Formation of Nevada.
