Phragmostrophia merriami

Taxonomy
Phragmostrophia merriami was named by Harper et al. (1967) [= Strophodonta calvini Walcott, 1884, p. 122, Pl. 13, fig. 6; not Miller, 1883.]. Its type specimen is USNM 140409 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM 10711. In saddle immediately south of "0" in 8081,, which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the McColley Canyon Formation of Nevada.
