Neocypricardinia simplex
Taxonomy
Neocypricardinia simplex was named by Zhang and Pojeta (1986). Its type specimen is YI C042, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ceshui Formation, Locality 5, Qintang Village, which is in a Jiusian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone/sandstone in the Ceshui Formation of China.
