Glyptoconcha elegans
Taxonomy
Glyptoconcha elegans was named by Zhang and Pojeta (1986). Its type specimen is YI CO13, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ceshui Formation, Locality 2, Songshanxia Res., which is in a Jiusian marginal marine mudstone/coal in the Ceshui Formation of China. It is the type species of Glyptoconcha.
