C. M. O. Rasmussen et al. 2012Medium-sized, ventri-biconvex profile with semielliptical–subcircular outline. Cardinal angles obtuse. Rectimarginate to weakly sulcate. Ventral interarea apsacline, short. Dorsal interarea anacline, high. Delthyrium and notothyrium open, wide. Parvicostellate ornament. Pseudopunctae in interspaces.

Ventral interior with large teeth supported by large dental plates. Diductor muscle scars bilobed. Dorsal interior with thick, rod-like cardinal process. Brachiophores long, narrow and supported by brachiophore plates.
