C. M. O. Rasmussen et al. 2012Shell small with strongly ventri-biconvex outline and elongate profile; maximum width at acute cardinal angles. Ventral valve unevenly convex with relatively flat cardinal extremities; median part of valve strongly convex with small sulcus. Dorsal valve weakly convex, with moderate sulcus possessing a fold medianly; anterior commissure uniplicate. Shell smooth, except for minute growth lines seen all over valve surface.
