Taxonomy
Neorthophlebia yunnanensis was named by Zhang and Hong (2003). It is an impression. Its type locality is Jishanpo, Chuxiong, which is in an Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian terrestrial mudstone in the Tuodian Formation of China.
