Williams 1962||Lustrous brown and cream-coloured, subpentagonal Pseudolingula with obtusely outlined inconspicuous beaks, truncated anterior margin and postero-lateral shoulders steeply sloping from a pair of divergent low "plicae" which flank a broad indistinct median "sulcus"; pedicle valve almost threequarters as wide as long; ornamentation consisting of irregularly spaced concentric growth-lamellae; ventral interior with a pair of umbonal muscle-scars deeply impressed in a thickened posterior platform which passes anteriorly into a low median septum about five-sixths as long as the valve.|
