Williams 1962 | Cream- and translucent-brown, banded Paterula, subcircular in outline and slightly longer than wide, with a plane to slightly convex pedicle valve and a gently convex brachial valve about one-sixth as deep as long, umbones of both valves just anterior to the posterior portion of the peripheral rim, pedicle notch narrow and deep, ornamentation consisting of concentrically arranged lamellose growth-lines; internal impressions obscure except for a pair of narrowly divergent lines originating just anterior to the pedicle notch and extending for about one-half of the length of the valve. |
