Bilobia etheridgei acuta was named by Williams (1962). Its type specimen is BB.15576, a valve (Internal and external mould of pedicle valve), and it is a 3D body fossil.

A. Williams 1962Elongately semi-oval Bilobia, over three-quarters as long as wide and strongly concavo. convex with the pedicle valve just over one-half as deep as long; ornamentation differentially parvicostellate and only a few excessively developed lamellae anteriorly; ventral muscle-scar less than one-third as long as the pedicle valve and just over three-quarters as long as wide; lophophore platform elongately bilobed, over two-thirds as long as the brachial valve, with a small median septum lying in the cleft and rather pointed frontal margins ankylosed to a pair of conspicuous and slightly divergent ridges on the floor of the valve.
