Taramelliceras (Taramelliceras) sebastiani was named by Quéreilhac (2009) [Locus typicus : Doux, "Les Mollets" (Deux-Sèvres, France)]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is BOUM-Q.Ox.147, a shell, and it is a mold.
