Mesosciophila antiqua
Taxonomy
Mesoplecia antiqua was named by Hao and Ren (2009). Its type specimen is CNU-DIP-D-NN2008096, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2008 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
It was recombined as Mesosciophila antiqua by Lin et al. (2015).
