Taxonomy
Strophomena broggeri was named by Holtedahl (1916) [Strophomena brøggeri Lectotypes designated by Spjeldnaes (1957).]. Its type specimen is L0095, a valve (dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Kjerulfina broeggeri by Spjeldnaes (1957).
