Huniella was named by Kozur and Sadeddin (1990) [Sepkoski's age data: J Bath J Oxfo Sepkoski's reference number: 924]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type is Huniella jordanica.
It was assigned to Priscopedatidae by Kozur and Sadeddin (1990); and to Dendrochirotida by Sepkoski (2002).

H. Kozur and W. Sadeddin 1990 | Sieve-plates with long, perforated arms and broad, thickened margin. Central pore very large, surrounded by a ring-like wall. Other pores small, in the arms often biserially arranged. A large stirrup with a robust, but short 4-edged spine is elevated above the central pore. The 4 feet of this stirrup are basally bifurcated, and reach far beyond the margin of the central pore. The lower side of the central pore is partly closed by a finely perforated lattice |
