D. B. Blake 2014Body wall ossicles small, plate-like, closely abutted, weakly rounded to polygonal in outline, not differenti- ated into carinal, primary circlet series. Marginal ossicles absent. Axillary broad, upright, shield-like. Madreporite ventrally positioned beyond axillary. Podial pores lacking from proximal- most ambulacrals but present medially and distally. Arm adambulacrals more or less L-shaped; base of ‘‘L’’ abutting transverse ridge of ambulacral, ascending arm of ‘‘L’’ directed proximally and thereby closing the podial position; a distally directed basal flange present on at least some adambulacrals. Arm adambulacrals bearing short, robust spine and spine base. MAO bearing single prominent spine base on the distal flange; abutted ventral oral edge of MAO pair not forming narrow ridge, as in Phragmactis.
