Khytrastrea ominensis
Taxonomy
Montlivaltia ominensis was named by Okuda and Yamagiwa (1978). Its type specimen is OMNH M341 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wasabi Valley, Locality 1, which is in a Carnian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in Japan.
It was recombined as Cuifia ominensis by Onoue and Stanley (2008); it was recombined as Khytrastrea ominensis by Stanley and Onoue (2015).
