Taxonomy
Pachydiscus seppenradensis was named by Landois (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lüdinghausen-Seppenrade, which is in a Campanian marine sandstone in the Dülmener Schichten Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Parapuzosia seppenradensis by Summesberger (1979); it was recombined as Parapuzosia (Parapuzosia) seppenradensis by Kennedy and Kaplan (1995).
