Taxonomy
Neritoma (Neridomus) ovallella was named by Pan (1977). Its type specimen is NIGP 24226, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YHW756, Shanzu, Yunlong County, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian marine horizon in the Hepingxiang Formation of China.
