Taxonomy
Eremotoechia spissa was named by Popov et al. (2001). Its type specimen is NMW 98.28G.30, a shell (conjoined valves), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is F-1026b. Karatal Section, which is in a Caradoc carbonate sandstone/limestone in the Baigara Formation of Kazakhstan.
