Cymatoceras patens

Taxonomy
Nautilus patens was named by Kner (1848). Its type specimen is NHMW 2004z0117/0001, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Nagoryany, area of Lvov, which is in a Senonian marine horizon in Ukraine.

It was recombined as Cymatoceras patens by Shimansky (1975) and Wilmsen and Esser (2004).
