O. I. Nikitina et al. 2006Shell concavoconvex with rectimarginate anterior commissure. Radial ornament equally and finely parvicostellate. Ventral interarea, apsacline with minute apical pseudodeltidium. Ventral interior with delicate teeth lacking dental plates, muscle field small, poorly defined anteriorly, short median ridge anterior to the muscle field and a pair of strong, divergent swellings of the shell floor with undercut anterior and lateral borders, bisected by straight, divergent vascular media. Dorsal interior with trifid cardinal process, and a high, bema bisected anteriorly by a median septum bearing two rod-like processes. Dorsal platform bounded by strong subperipheral rim.
