Taxonomy
Leptoconops (Leptoconops) ellenbergeri was named by Szadziewski (2015). Its type specimen is MIB 5613, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (MAI Gdansk coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
