Taxonomy
Eutrephoceras soyaense was named by Matsumoto and Miyauchi (1983). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Location 5, Kiyohama-II, Cape Soya, which is in a Campanian marine sandstone in the Ohmisaki Formation of Japan.
