Taxonomy
Eutrephoceras municeps was named by Shimansky (1975). Its type specimen is PIN 1623/14, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Prisyazhnaya Mountain, Prokhladne village, Kacha basin, which is in a Barremian marine horizon in Ukraine.
