Palelialia karpinskyi

Taxonomy
Nautilus karpinskyi was named by Karakasch (1907). Its type specimen is LGU 103/107, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Verkhorechye, Crimea (LGU collection), which is in a Hauterivian/Barremian marine horizon in Ukraine. It is the type species of Palelialia.

It was recombined as Palelialia karpinskyi by Shimansky (1975).
